Wow! I have neglected blogging for a spell. So a quick update is due.
Did not get the house. I backed out and lost the money from the binder and the home inspection, but looking back I have zero regrets. Plus everyone here says I would have been a fool to buy with the housing market as bad as it is here.
I ended up renting and it works out much cheaper. I am still getting use to and settled into the area. I will be here two to three years and I am hoping that goes by very quickly! I am not so much loving the area, but I am giving it the chance to grow on me.
I plan to get out this weekend and take tons of photos to post here and to send home. So I will update more when I have the pics and the additional time on my hands.
